This might sound petty but I was actually annoyed with Giyuu when he gave Tanjiro his short haircut free of charge at their meet-cute in EP1.
But thanks to fate and Mr. Urokodakis training regime we get our long-haired Tanjiro back 🥳.
Just look at him, he’s so cool with long hair!
At least until he cuts it for the Final Selection but maybe it’s for the better… I would be too overwhelmed and not focus enough on Tanjiro’s badass big-brother energy if he looked uber cool.
But jokes aside what did you think about Giyuu letting a boy with his demon sister off the hook without making sure they get to Mr. Urokodaki without eating any humans on the way? I recently rewatched Demon Slayer Season 1 and this always makes me wonder what Giyuu’s deal is. (The Hashira Training Arc has not been consumed by this Anime Addict, so please no spoilers should there be any!)
